• "Sauh Law" / "We" / "Us" / "Our" — Sauh Law, a legal practice registered and operating in Malaysia, with offices at Level 7, Menara MBMR, 1 Jalan Syed Putra, 58000 Kuala Lumpur.
• "Services" — the pension legal services described on this website, including pension entitlement reviews, dispute representation, and the comprehensive pension support package.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using this Website, submitting an enquiry, or instructing Sauh Law to act on your behalf, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age or have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement under Malaysian law.
• You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
• Where you act on behalf of a company or third party, you have authority to bind that party.

3. Service Description

Sauh Law provides specialised legal services in relation to pension and retirement-fund matters in Malaysia. Our current services are:

Services are available to clients within Malaysia and to Malaysian citizens or permanent residents with pension entitlements under Malaysian law. We reserve the right to decline instructions at our discretion without being required to give reasons.

4. User Responsibilities

When using this Website or engaging our services, you agree to:

• Not misrepresent your identity or the facts of your matter.

6. Payment Terms

Fees for our services are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM). Current service fees are:

• Pension Entitlement Review — RM 300
• Pension Dispute Representation — RM 660
• Comprehensive Pension Support Package — RM 1,080

Payment terms will be specified in your engagement letter. Fees are generally due before or upon commencement of work unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept payment by bank transfer and other methods as advised at the time of engagement.

Refunds: Once a service has commenced, fees are generally non-refundable unless we are unable to perform the agreed scope of work. Any refund will be assessed on the basis of work completed at the time of the request.

We reserve the right to adjust our fees from time to time. Any change in fees will be communicated before it applies to your matter.

7. Service-Specific Terms

The following additional terms apply to the provision of legal services:

• Scope of service — Each engagement is governed by a scope of work agreed at the outset. Work outside that scope may require a separate arrangement and additional fees.
• Timelines — We will provide reasonable estimates of timeframes. However, the duration of a pension matter depends in part on third parties (such as EPF, KWAP, or government agencies), and we cannot commit to specific completion dates.
• Client cooperation — Delays caused by late provision of documents or instructions are outside our control and may affect progress.
• Confidentiality — We maintain strict professional confidentiality in accordance with the Legal Profession Act 1976 and our own confidentiality obligations.
• Updates — We will keep you informed of material developments in your matter and will provide written updates at agreed intervals or upon significant milestones.

8. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, Sauh Law's total liability to you in connection with any single matter shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for that matter.

• Loss of income or financial benefit, whether or not foreseeable.
• Delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including decisions of third-party authorities, changes in law, or force majeure events.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Sauh Law, its partners, and employees from and against any claims, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from your breach of these Terms & Conditions, your provision of inaccurate or misleading information, or your misuse of this Website.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement by providing reasonable written notice. We may cease acting for you immediately if there is a conflict of interest, a breakdown in the working relationship, or if you act in a way that is inconsistent with our professional obligations.

Upon termination, fees for work completed to the date of termination remain payable. We will provide you with documentation sufficient to allow another legal practitioner to continue the matter, subject to outstanding fees being settled.

Sections relating to intellectual property, confidentiality, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution survive termination of this Agreement.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia.

In the event of a dispute arising from these terms or our services, we encourage you to contact us first at [email protected] to seek resolution informally. We will acknowledge your concern within five working days and endeavour to reach a fair resolution.

If informal resolution is not achieved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, with Kuala Lumpur as the venue unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Clients who have concerns about our professional conduct may also refer to the Malaysian Bar Council, which has oversight of legal practitioners in Peninsular Malaysia.

13. General Provisions

• Entire Agreement — Together with any engagement letter, these terms represent the complete agreement between you and Sauh Law regarding use of this Website and the services described herein.
• Severability — If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
• Waiver — Failure by either party to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
• Assignment — You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these terms to another party without our prior written consent.
